Dr. Gary M. Nadolsky practices General Optometry at our Salem location. He routinely provides refractive care (glasses and contact lenses), ocular diagnosis and treatment, dry eye therapy, and vision care services.
Dr. Nadolsky graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a B.S. in Biology and Summa Cum Laude recognition. In 2005, Dr. Nadolsky made the move across his home state to attend the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Philadelphia, PA) where he was a member of the 2009 graduating class. Dr. Nadolsky pursued residency certification through the Southern College of Optometry (Memphis, TN) by completing a residency in primary care at the James H. Quillen VAMC near Johnson City, TN in 2010.
Dr. Nadolsky has trained at various facilities across the country. Among them, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute (Miami, FL) where he completed externship work in retinal pathology, glaucoma, and pediatric eye care. As an extern at The Eye Institute (Philadelphia, PA), Dr. Nadolsky received clinical awards for his devoted work in primary care and low vision. As a resident, Dr. Nadolsky also presented his most interesting case reports at the American Academy of Optometry and at the South Eastern Congress of Optometry International.
Dr. Nadolsky is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association, and the Southwest Virginia Optometric Association.
