Dr. Johnson graduated cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. While at school, she was treasurer of her school’s Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity and participated in several volunteer mission trips to Belize and Mexico. She also became a student fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She was a member of the student chapters of the College of Vision Development, Lion’s Club, and Sports Vision Club.
Dr. Johnson did externships at a vision therapy and pediatrics clinic in California and a VA hospital in Florida.
She enjoys swimming, horseback riding, and reading in her free time!
