Dr. Wang

Dr. Wang graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 2009 and received numerous student awards including membership of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.

Before attending optometry school, Dr. Wang obtained his Master degree in Vision Sciences at the State University of New York in NYC, where he studied the effect of optical defocus on blur detection and discrimination of the human eyes and published 12 peer-reviewed articles and became the research fellow of American Academy of Optometry.

After finishing his O.D. degree, Dr. Wang completed a Veterans Affairs Optometric residency in Birmingham, AL, through the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry and Southeastern Blind Rehabilitation Center.

Dr. Wang currently practices at Salem and Franklin Road locations. He practices general optometry with an emphasis on disease diagnosis and treatment, contact lenses, dry eye syndromes, and refractive needs. He also has experience and expertise in low vision exam.
